Analysis:
Once you walk in you immediately are in the Decompression Zone. The decompression zone is a pretty big space with starbucks on one side or perhaps a concession stand and on the other side you may have customer service. You really have to walk in there before you come in contact with the clothing they sell. The Butt Brush theory really takes place here because you have to get inside the section to see the clothes and then you find the shirts and sweaters on the table where the petting begins. This store always has customers. As I walked into the women clothing section I saw the whole petting take action a woman was touching a sweater, unfolded it, and laid it on top of her. Next thing you know it was in her cart. The layout the store had didn’t seem to confuse the customers. The store seems to have a guide and gives you direction on where to go. The section where the clothes and shoes are is carpeted and the rest is tiled floor. Also where you find the home/patio furniture is displayed out and I notice people sitting on it. I did not witness any negotiation going on while I was at that store.
Finding:
This store was very organized even though the fitting room seemed clutter clothes pilled up inside shopping carts. Another section that was a little disorganized was the shoe section. I saw shoes on the floor and out of there boxes. Shoes were also on top of the shelf knocked down.
